Ready To Help is a Mutual Aid Community Network that identifies problems and creates solutions in the Los Angeles area. We empower, educate, and engage people on issues that affect their communities to build a more equitable society.
How We Started
Ready To Help was created by neighbors in Los Angeles who came together to assist each other during the initial days of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
We have expanded around Southern California and work on projects initiated by our community needs and each other.

What is mutual aid?
Formal mutual aid groups have been around for over a century, supporting communities facing natural disaster and lacking in support or protection as workers.
Mutual aid differs from charity in that members are decision makers - we ask what people need and give without expectation. The day-to-day work and organizing is done by volunteers, members who pool their resources to help each other and their communities.

We are dedicated to listening to our communities, helping connect groups and bring awareness to causes we believe in, and doing what we can to move the needle and make impactful change in Southern California.
